Don't walk into the bathroom with the light off!

Ok... so I got addicted to gel transfers recently to use in my Mixed Media art.I print out the image on plain paper then cover it with Tar gel { a super goopy sticky gel that dries clear and flexible}.Leave it to dry for twenty four hours laid flat Wet the white paper backing with a spray bottle until the paper is soaked. Then rub off the paper gently with your finger until you have removed it all. Now you have a Gelskin. Rinse the skin in cool water and hang to dry then lay flat between plastic until you want to use it. I hung mine over the shower and freaked out my family.....so put the light on in the bathroom!

Photos from the Past

What if..... you found an old photo album in a dusty attic. The images inside it's brittle covers were like nothing you had ever seen. Faded images of Fairies in the woods, strange creatures never captured on film before. All recorded by a long dead photographer and hidden away until now. Just imagine!

Still misty and cold here

I was outside for a good part of the day taking photographs again. Although the sun was trying its best to shine through the mist,.... it's still cold and damp.

Hearts and stuff

The laundry is piling up and the dust bunnies have taken on a life of their own but I just had to get outside today and take some photographs. I thought as Valentines day was close I should feature some hearts! I found these glass ornaments and hung them on the trees in the yard. The ones in the sundae glass have sour creme on them....don't ask me why. Just one of my wacky ideas! I suppose really because I didn't have any ice cream handy!
