You see it written all over the place...it,s the journey, not the destination that matters! and the process is better than the result!
I agree to a certain point,although personally I think you should have a blast during the process and on the journey but be totally immersed in the destination when you get there!

This novice witch is so pleased with her first 'raising of the dead' experiment. But some how It looks like she may have get more than she bargained for!
As a novice she should have the guidance of a senior witch,.. but being strong willed she thought she would do it all by herself!

Fun and Games and Sealing Wax

I put these book bundles together to be used in a store display.
Sealing wax was not as easy as I thought it would be!
My fingertips are singed {so is my hair} and I almost set my work table on fire!
I haven't had this much fun since I set fire to a canvas with my heat gun...but thats another story!
Anyway I am happy with how they turned out.

Autumn Weather and Art

The weather here in Gibson's is beautiful right now. In the early morning there is a layer of mist over the ocean which slowly lifts as the sun warms things up.
The trees are turning gold and red {not as spectacular as back east though}
I'm looking forward to the first frost.

As most of you know I love dark and creepy but not really blood and gore.
I am not really sure what will happen here if you sit! will you suddenly find yourself tied down with barbed wire? never able to move...and then what?

Halloween Window at the Swallow's Nest.

I work at a store in Gibson's called the Swallows Nest. here is the window we just finished as a start to the Halloween display.
The store is a great mix of vintage and new, lots of gift ideas too. The whole place is pulled together by Ginny the owner, who has an eye for great stuff you feel you really can't live without.
