Candle in the wind

The title was inspired by Elton John's tribute to Marilyn.
The manipulation was done as part of a challenge on http://artarazzi.blogspot.com

Black and White for a change

After doing so many digital art pieces in all the colors available in Photoshop it really feels good to just work in Black and White now and again.
I called this one Cocoon I'm not sure how she got into this situation ! I don't see any spiders anywhere.

The Last Angel

I usually like Dark and Gothic images in my digital art.
But I do have a lighter side too !
Here we have the very last Earth Angel...as she falls asleep she turns into angel dust which will be collected by the Solar wind.

The Raven

In the spirit of Halloween I drew this Raven then scanned him into Photoshop and Sketchbook Pro to finish

I used a grave yard image from

Have a great Halloween.

Can't stop drawing Dragons

I have this small chalk ware desk dragon that sits by my work table. I scanned a pencil sketch of him into Photoshop and added layers, filters, digital drawing details until a finished image appeared
He just woke up but it seems he has been asleep for so long that the forest grew right over him.

Just a bunch

Walking on a local beach looking for things to photograph I came across this broken shell nestled in the rocks,
I decided it would make a cool little planter[ digitally of course] with some flowers added.

Fall brings the spiders out.

As the weather starts to get cooler here in the Pacific Northwest the garden spiders start to spin their webs across the bushes and trees and even your doorway [ so that you walk out in the morning and get a face full of web ]
I love to go out with my camera to take photos of these spiders and their webs especially when they have dew on them ,then I use these images in my digital art.
One of my creation is called Space Spider ,I took the spider out of her web and put her up into the sky.
